Job description
Role overview
KYU Media is a Sydney-based creative agency known for work across personal branding, campaigns, digital marketing, podcasts, and content creation. Established in 2019 by Matt Purcell, the team supports well-known Australian personalities and service-based businesses with end-to-end creative services, including podcast production, photography, videography, and graphic design.
The business works in a pod structure made up of a Strategist, Account Manager, Marketing Executive, Videographer, Editor, and Graphics support. The paid ads function is expanding, so this role will help shape systems, processes, and delivery standards as the team grows.
About the role
This position is suited to someone who is organised, steady under pressure, and strong with client relationships. You will act as the main contact for clients within your pod, help keep projects moving, and ensure the work delivered matches the brief and the expected outcome.
Key duties
You will coordinate delivery across multiple clients, manage timelines, and keep everyone aligned from briefing through to completion. The role also involves active participation on set when required, plus hands-on support wherever needed to get tasks completed.
Additional responsibilities
As the pod grows, you will also help improve internal workflows, identify bottlenecks, and contribute to better systems and processes. The role is not limited to coordination; it also requires ownership, initiative, and a willingness to jump in wherever the work needs it.
Experience and application conditions
Candidates must be based in Australia and ready to work in person. The role also requires at least 3 years of genuine experience running Meta campaigns, tracking leads, and improving cost per lead with measurable results. Applicants should be dependable, accountable, and able to bring a good attitude to the team.
If you do not meet all three core conditions—being based in Australia, having 3+ years of real experience, and being able to demonstrate strong character and accountability—the application should not be pursued.
Compensation
The salary range is $80,000 to $95,000 plus superannuation, with additional commission-based offer bonuses available.
Benefits
The role includes an annual staff retreat, commission opportunities on top of salary, flexible office arrangements, more than $1,000 per year for personal and professional development, and free barista coffee every day at the studio. The team environment is designed to be ambitious, fun, and serious about the quality of work.
Values and culture
The company says performance is measured against three core values: working hard with empathy, being resourceful and proactive, and consistently delivering work of a very high standard. The culture favours people who take ownership, contribute energy, and are comfortable going beyond their job title when the situation demands it.
Hiring process
The selection process has three stages: an initial interview, a trial shift or project to demonstrate capability, and a final decision.
Important note
Applicants are instructed not to apply unless they satisfy all stated conditions. External links and social media references were mentioned in the source and have been omitted here.
