Job description
Role overview
This opportunity is for a partner company hiring in Saudi Arabia. The role centers on keeping a digital platform safe, compliant, and reliable by reviewing user-generated material at scale. The work involves careful judgment when handling sensitive content, applying policy rules consistently, and helping preserve platform integrity and user safety.
You will operate in a structured, high-volume environment where precision, fairness, and speed matter. When a case is unclear, sensitive, or unusually complex, you will collaborate with escalation or specialist teams to ensure the right decision is made.
Key accountabilities
- Examine user-posted content to confirm it aligns with platform policies, internal standards, safety expectations, and applicable legal rules.
- Spot, categorize, and escalate material that is harmful, deceptive, inappropriate, or otherwise policy-breaking.
- Use moderation rules in a consistent way while maintaining strong accuracy and impartiality.
- Forward difficult, sensitive, or ambiguous cases to senior reviewers or policy specialists when needed.
- Work toward daily productivity and quality goals in a fast-moving moderation setting.
- Protect confidential information and handle sensitive user data with care.
- Contribute ideas and feedback that help improve moderation workflows and decision-making practices.
Experience and profile
The ideal candidate brings sound judgment, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to operate effectively in a policy-led review environment.
- About 6 months to 1 year of experience in trust and safety, compliance, moderation, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong focus on detail and the ability to assess sensitive or potentially harmful content objectively.
- Familiarity with moderation processes, tools, and community rules at a basic level.
- Understanding of how cultural context can influence the interpretation of online content.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Ability to record decisions clearly and consistently.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment guided by policy and procedure.
Benefits and compensation
- Monthly pay of up to USD 800, depending on eligibility.
- Fully remote work arrangement.
- Paid vacation and sick leave.
- Access to learning and development initiatives.
- Sports and wellness programs.
- Opportunity to support a global, rapidly growing digital platform.
- Collaborative and friendly team culture.
Application and data processing
Applications are handled by a partner organization, which also manages the next stages of the hiring process. Shortlisting is supported by an AI-based matching system that evaluates candidates against the core requirements before sharing suitable profiles with the hiring company. Final decisions, including interviews and assessments, are made by the employer’s internal hiring team.
By applying, you acknowledge that your personal data may be processed to assess your candidacy and shared with the employer as part of recruitment. This processing is based on legitimate interest and pre-contractual measures under applicable data protection laws, including GDPR. You may request access, correction, deletion, or objection to processing at any time.
AI tools may also be used to assist recruitment tasks such as application review, résumé analysis, response assessment, and identifying possible inconsistencies or verification signals. These tools support recruiters but do not replace human judgment, and final hiring outcomes remain human-led.
