Content Creator and Creative Lead

About the Role

A creative venue in Accra is seeking a personable, confident, and engaging individual to become the public voice and visual personality of the brand. This position blends content production, hospitality, and community engagement. In this role, you will represent the brand across social channels, host events, and deliver content that is useful, entertaining, and aligned with the organization’s mission and values.

Social Media & Content Creation

• Act as the main on-camera host across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and any other relevant digital channels.
• Conceptualize, produce, and schedule a steady stream of posts such as reels, stories, short-form videos, photos, and written captions.
• Create recurring content ideas and series that spotlight the food, environment, events, and community around the brand.
• Communicate timely updates about menu additions, promotions, upcoming happenings, and behind-the-scenes activity.

Events & Hosting

• Serve as the official host for events and create a welcoming, lively, and memorable atmosphere for attendees.
• Greet guests, keep the event moving smoothly, and ensure people feel acknowledged and appreciated.
• Work alongside the events team to develop speaking notes, hosting cues, and event storylines.
• Record live event content for social channels, including real-time coverage where needed.
• Represent the brand at outside activations, pop-ups, and collaborations with partners.

Brand & Creative Direction

• Partner with leadership to keep content aligned with a consistent voice and visual style.
• Contribute original ideas for campaigns, partnerships, recurring content formats, and seasonal events.
• Stay current on food, lifestyle, and entertainment trends in Ghana and beyond, then turn relevant ideas into audience-facing content.
• Coordinate with photographers, videographers, and graphic designers when required to produce high-quality output.
• Monitor content results and apply learnings to strengthen future strategy.

Candidate Profile

• Comfortable and convincing in front of a camera, with the ability to speak to audiences and host groups confidently.
• Has a visible social media presence and an existing audience or following.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a voice that feels authentic, warm, and engaging.
• Experience creating social media content, either professionally or as an independent creator.
• Genuine interest in food, hospitality, and community culture.
• Brings initiative and original thinking rather than simply executing assigned briefs.
• Able to work independently, manage a content calendar, and consistently meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with basic video and photo editing tools, or willingness to learn them.
• Knowledge of the Accra food and lifestyle landscape is an added advantage.
