About the role
Reneco International Wildlife Consultants Ltd is expanding its conservation work across multiple regions, creating a new opportunity for an experienced Compliance Manager. The organisation focuses on a worldwide conservation effort to help restore and protect Houbara bustard populations in North Africa and Asia through a blend of research and operational work across Morocco, Central Asia, and the Arabian Peninsula.
What you will do
- Keep a current compliance register covering every country where the organisation operates.
- Make sure operations align with applicable legal, regulatory, and sector rules, including finance, environment, procurement, data privacy, anti-money laundering, and workplace safety.
- Create, update, and strengthen compliance policies, procedures, and internal guidelines.
- Build, run, and continuously improve the compliance management system.
- Set up governance structures, reporting routines, and risk controls that bring compliance practices into alignment across all sites.
- Carry out compliance reviews, prepare findings and recommendations, and monitor follow-up actions until they are closed.
- Serve as the internal point of contact for understanding regulatory changes and converting them into company policies.
- Advise managers on compliance matters and support sites during inspections, audits, and certification activities.
- Plan and conduct training on compliance topics such as anti-bribery, AML, data protection, whistleblowing, and conflicts of interest.
- Promote ethical behaviour and compliance awareness through campaigns and workshops.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s qualification in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a similar discipline.
- At least 8 years of relevant professional experience in Compliance, Internal Audit, Risk Management, or Legal Affairs.
- Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks, corporate governance, and compliance practices.
- Practical exposure to working with regulators, auditors, or certification organisations.
- Hands-on experience with compliance management systems and risk assessment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with good interpersonal ability.
- The confidence to work independently and deliver within deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Arabic, including speaking, reading, and writing.

This position is part of an expanding conservation programme with new projects and growing operational needs. The role is based onsite in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
