Role Overview
Batian Registrars LLP is looking to hire a proactive Company Secretary to strengthen its Secretarial department. The team is already operational, and the firm is seeking someone with solid experience across company secretarial work to support the partners in delivering assignments and contributing to growth through high-quality service.
Interview Process Note
The first interview will be conducted through a questionnaire. All answers provided in the questionnaire and later during the oral interview will be treated as factual. Candidates are expected to respond honestly and thoroughly, as any employment offer may be withdrawn if information is found to be untrue.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit statutory documents to the relevant regulatory bodies.
- Help draft agendas, minutes, and resolutions for board and committee meetings.
- Keep statutory registers and company records up to date while supporting compliance with company law.
- Track legislative and regulatory developments that may affect clients and assess their implications.
- Contribute to the preparation of client compliance reports.
- Handle communication and coordination with shareholders, regulators, and other stakeholders.
- Keep track of statutory filing deadlines and make sure submissions are completed on time.
- Assist with business development activities connected to company secretarial services.
Qualifications and Experience
- A relevant bachelor's degree is required.
- The candidate must be a CS Finalist.
- Working knowledge of the Companies Act and related regulatory obligations is expected.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- At least 3 years of experience in company secretarial, compliance, or governance work is required.
- The role demands the ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Experience in a professional services or consulting environment will be an added advantage.
