About the Role
HRZN is looking to add a Community Manager (m/w/d) to its Düsseldorf-based community management team. The company is made up of more than 45 specialists who work with a passionate, analytical, intuitive and modern mindset. With teams across three locations in Germany, HRZN supports clients in Retail & FMCG, eCommerce, Automotive & Mobility, Industry, Technology, Life Science and HealthCare.
Key Responsibilities
- Observe client channels every day, spot shifts in sentiment early and react accordingly.
- Engage directly with users, answering questions about clients’ products and services.
- Encourage community participation by creating momentum and prompting interaction.
- Help grow the community in a structured way while identifying opportunities and potential risks at an early stage.
- Maintain a constructive communication environment, handle sensitive topics and online backlash confidently, and help moderate discussions.
- Develop community rules and guidelines and ensure they are followed.
Profile Sought
- Approximately 3 years of professional experience in community management or a similar field.
- Strong verbal communication, clear expression and excellent command of language.
- High empathy and tact in dealing with people.
- Very good judgment when assessing developments and trends within a community.
- Broad general knowledge and a strong interest in sociological trends and innovation.
- Interest in how social media is evolving.
- A pronounced service mindset.
- Strong teamwork, independence and self-organization.
- Native-level German; English is an advantage.
