Role overview

Ren Ci Hospital is hiring a Community Care Associate to support client care activities at its Bukit Batok location in Singapore. This is a full-time onsite position within the nursing category, posted on 13 Jun 2026.

What you will do

• Help clients carry out everyday living activities based on each person’s care plan and support needs.
• Work alongside nurses and therapists in routine care tasks, including checking vital signs.
• Assist in daycare routines and carry out assigned therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Support clients with meals, hygiene, movement, medication assistance, and basic wound care under supervision.
• Observe changes in cognition and behaviour and raise concerns through the proper channels.
• Document or report incidents, assist with follow-up investigations, and escalate feedback or complaints when needed.
• Handle housekeeping tasks, clean equipment, support stock control, and complete simple administrative work.
• Follow standard operating procedures, infection prevention practices, safety rules, and confidentiality expectations.
• Carry out duties under supervision, work rotating shifts, and maintain professional and ethical behaviour.
• Take part in training sessions, team meetings, and wider organisational programmes.
• Remain alert to job-related risks and help support the hospital’s efforts to manage them effectively.

What we are looking for

• A minimum O-Level or N-Level qualification is preferred.
• No professional licence or specialised certification is needed.
• Prior exposure to geriatric care, long-term care, or nursing home work is helpful but not essential.
• A reliable team player with a steady and responsible work ethic.
• A caring, patient individual who communicates with empathy.
• Someone who is committed to serving clients fairly, regardless of race, nationality, religion, or social standing.
• Ability to respect the organisation’s values, dignity, and interests.
• Willingness to cooperate and contribute to community-based care delivery.
• Comfortable handling multiple tasks and performing well in a busy or pressured setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
