About the Role

We are looking for a Communications Manager based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, reporting to Senior Communications Manager and Directors. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in PR and marketing, with strong leadership skills and an excellent understanding of the luxury sector in the GCC region.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in PR, marketing, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 to 6 years of experience in PR or marketing, preferably with agency exposure to grasp communication principles and agency operations.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Arabic language skills are advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Demonstrated success in client and media relationship management.
  • Extensive network of press and social contacts within the GCC.
  • In-depth knowledge of the luxury market and sector insights.
  • Strong leadership qualities for managing and mentoring team members effectively.
  • Experience in handling crisis communications and developing media strategies.
  • Ability to work flexibly under pressure, juggling multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Proactive in identifying challenges and proposing effective solutions for client satisfaction.
  • Motivated, ambitious, and passionate about PR and the luxury industry.
  • Willingness to travel for work commitments as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead client account management to ensure effective execution of PR and communication strategies.
  • Design and implement strategic communication plans aligned with client objectives.
  • Conduct client calls and strategic meetings to ensure clarity and alignment on deliverables.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, supporting their professional growth.
  • Identify media opportunities proactively and craft compelling storytelling to secure high-value media placements.
  • Supervise the creation and dissemination of communication materials including press releases, Q&A documents, speeches, presentations, and client collateral.
  • Manage monthly media coverage reports and analyze their impact.
  • Organize and lead events, activations, and press engagements on behalf of clients.
  • Actively participate in crisis communication management providing strategic counsel and response tactics.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media personnel, influencers, and key industry players.
  • Assist in business development efforts through client pitching and contributing towards the agency's growth.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor movements, and new PR opportunities to continuously refine client strategies.
