About the Role

Welcome Hotels is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Commis de Rang (m/f/d) to join their team in Bamberg, Bavaria. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for hospitality, excellent people skills, and a desire to contribute to a dynamic team environment. The position is offered as full-time, with the possibility of part-time employment upon discussion. We are looking for individuals who are trendsetters, all-rounders, and team players with a natural talent for hosting.

Responsibilities

• Serving beverages and meals, including providing recommendations and attentive service to guests in our restaurants.
• Preparing conference rooms and managing coffee breaks.
• Organizing and setting up for events such as weddings, birthdays, and corporate functions.
• Overseeing and managing conferences and events.
• Supervising and guiding auxiliary staff, interns, and apprentices.
• Ensuring compliance with hygiene regulations (HACCP) and safety standards.
• Carrying out professional cleaning of equipment, machinery, materials, and furniture.
• Completing mise en place tasks for respective shifts.
• Instructing apprentices.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in the hotel or gastronomy sector.
• A well-groomed and professional appearance.
• A friendly, open, and approachable personality.
• Strong teamwork, loyalty, reliability, flexibility, and meticulousness.
• A genuine desire to work collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent command of the German language.
