Role Overview
We are looking for dependable, service-minded drivers to become part of a growing team in Knighton, helping provide safe and comfortable transport for schoolchildren, private bookings, day tours, and community trips.
Key Duties
- Deliver timely and courteous transport for school runs, private hire trips, and sightseeing excursions.
- Carry out daily safety inspections on the vehicle to confirm it is fit for the road.
- Work across a flexible timetable that may include early starts, evenings, and weekend shifts.
- Support DBS check requirements as needed.
Experience and License Requirements
- Applicants should have a full UK driving licence with a clean record and at least 2 years of driving experience.
- A Category D or D1 licence is preferred, and CPC plus Tachograph certification is an advantage.
- Those holding a standard car licence may receive training to progress to the required licence level.
- A calm, professional, and patient approach is important for this role.
Compensation and Benefits
This position offers hourly pay between £12.21 and £15, along with full training, varied day-to-day work, a company pension, a uniform, and a supportive team atmosphere.
