Job description

Role overview

This remote U.S.-based opportunity is being promoted on behalf of a partner employer, which will handle applications and the rest of the hiring process. The role is centered on coordinating clinical review work that supports recovery outcomes for people dealing with workplace injuries or auto-related incidents. It is a structured, accuracy-driven position that depends on careful documentation, strong communication, and collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.

You will help move clinical cases through the review process by gathering medical records, organizing case materials, maintaining system records, and keeping communication flowing between teams, clients, and providers. The work must be completed with attention to confidentiality, quality standards, jurisdictional rules, and established procedures. This is a mission-focused role for someone who enjoys organized, detail-heavy healthcare coordination work that contributes to patient recovery pathways.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee the flow of clinical and peer review cases, including setup, assignment, progress tracking, and completion.
  • Request, collect, confirm, and arrange medical documentation from provider offices for review purposes.
  • Keep case requests and related records current and accurate in internal platforms.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal colleagues, clients, and outside providers to support communication and resolve issues.
  • Follow client instructions, regional requirements, and privacy standards while handling sensitive case information.
  • Track case status and contribute to meeting service-level targets and team performance goals.
  • Prepare, update, and manage paperwork and records using company systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Work closely with teammates to deliver consistent service and reliable case support.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or an equivalent credential is required; extra training in healthcare or administration is considered helpful.
  • Background in workers’ compensation, medical office support, or healthcare administration is preferred.
  • Strong organizational ability with the capacity to juggle several cases and priorities at once.
  • Clear written and spoken communication skills, including good grammar and the ability to express information accurately.
  • Comfort using Microsoft Office Suite and digital case management platforms.
  • Ability to work carefully within detailed procedures, policies, and compliance guidelines.
  • High level of attention to detail and a strong commitment to protecting confidential information.
  • Ability to perform well in a remote, structured, collaborative environment.

Compensation and benefits

The role offers an hourly rate of $19 to $20, depending on experience and location.

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan
  • Life and AD&D insurance
  • Tuition reimbursement support
  • Remote flexibility for U.S.-based candidates
  • Employee wellness and support resources
  • Opportunities for professional development and internal advancement

Application and hiring process

Applications are reviewed through an AI-assisted matching process designed to compare candidates against the role’s core requirements in a quick and consistent way. The strongest matches are then passed along to the hiring company, where interviews, assessments, and final hiring decisions are managed by their internal team.

Data handling notice

By applying, you acknowledge that your personal data may be processed to evaluate your candidacy and shared with the hiring employer as part of the recruitment process. This is based on legitimate interest and pre-contractual measures under applicable data protection laws, including GDPR. You may request access, correction, deletion, or objection regarding your data at any time.

AI tools may also be used to support parts of the recruitment workflow, such as screening applications, reviewing resumes, assessing responses, and identifying possible inconsistencies or verification signals from submitted materials. These tools assist the recruitment team but do not replace human judgment, and final hiring decisions remain with people.
