Role overview
As a Clinical Research Coordinator, you will oversee the setup and day-to-day conduct of clinical studies. The position calls for strong attention to compliance, quality, and financial performance, along with the ability to address internal and external stakeholder questions, issues, and requests using study management methods and tools. Some evening and weekend work should be expected.
Key responsibilities
You will manage clinical studies end to end, including ensuring timely, error-free execution; independently running bioequivalence and bioavailability studies; coordinating with support teams such as recruitment, data management, and statistics to keep studies on schedule; leading study initiation meetings; facilitating pre-study, in-process, and post-study review meetings; solving issues that arise during study execution; meeting with clients as needed; and coordinating study logistics and staffing. You will also be present for key study events and dosing, maintain client relationships that can lead to new business, draft and edit reports, respond to client concerns and requests, follow milestone timelines, and support profitability through budget and expense control at both team and individual study levels.
Requirements
The preferred candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field or a BSN; in some cases, prior Celerion experience may be accepted instead of a degree. Experience in the industry and familiarity with medical terminology are preferred.
