Job description
About Alder
Alder has spent more than three decades supporting over 5,000 families throughout the Northeast as they make decisions and manage the challenges of aging. The organization’s life care managers are experienced social workers and nurses who provide both practical guidance and direct support, including care coordination, home safety review, appointment accompaniment, and family conversations.
With strong community roots and a wide professional network, Alder connects families to dependable resources and works across disciplines to create coordinated support. Its services can be occasional or urgent depending on the situation, with the goal of helping families handle the emotional and practical sides of aging with greater confidence.
Role Overview
The Client Relations & Intake Specialist will be the first person families reach when they begin navigating difficult care decisions. This is a full-time position for someone with experience in care management or elder care intake who can combine professional fluency with a compassionate approach.
You will manage the full intake journey from the initial inquiry to the internal handoff, keep records accurate in HubSpot, and act as a dependable, informed contact for prospective clients and referral partners during stressful and uncertain moments.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will handle incoming referrals, communicate with families and partners, support urgent situations, maintain CRM records, and assist with quality checks and reporting. The position also includes regular collaboration with the broader team through virtual and in-person meetings.
Additional Information
This position is primarily remote. It requires one on-site day each month, along with quarterly staff meetings and other in-person meetings when scheduled.
Compensation
The anticipated annual salary for this role is between $75,000 and $85,000, in line with Massachusetts pay transparency requirements. Final compensation can differ based on licensure, years of experience, and other relevant qualifications.
Benefits and Perks
Alder offers a mission-driven workplace and a benefits package designed to support employee well-being and development.
