Role Overview
This senior-level position is responsible for managing important client relationships, guiding account strategy, and helping drive revenue growth and retention. The role acts as a high-level advisor to major customers and focuses on expanding partnerships while ensuring service quality and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee strategic client relationships and manage high-value accounts.
- Create and implement account expansion plans that improve client satisfaction and unlock revenue potential.
- Act as the main executive contact for important stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Develop durable partnerships through proactive communication and consultative account management.
- Work closely with sales, operations, product, marketing, and customer success teams to deliver effective client solutions.
- Track account performance, customer health, and service delivery quality.
- Spot opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and broader business development.
- Handle contract discussions, renewals, and commercial negotiations.
- Address complex client concerns and drive timely resolutions.
- Prepare executive business reviews, performance updates, and strategic recommendations.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Management, or a similar discipline is preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience in account management, client services, customer success, business development, or a related area.
- At least 3 years in a senior or leadership role managing clients is preferred.
- Demonstrated success handling enterprise-level or strategically important accounts.
- Strong ability to build relationships, negotiate effectively, and manage stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and executive-level engagement skills.
- Solid commercial awareness with the ability to identify growth opportunities.
- Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or comparable systems.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
