About the Role

Join the Logistics team at the Brantford, Ontario bakery as a Warehouse Clerk. This position is central to keeping raw materials and packaging moving accurately and on time so bakery production can run smoothly.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan and coordinate the daily intake of raw materials and packaging for the Brantford warehouse.
  • Receive shipments accurately and match purchase orders and inventory records using SAP and the warehouse management system.
  • Process Stock Transport Orders to help ensure material movement to the Ancaster bakery happens on schedule.
  • Work with Purchasing, Quality Assurance, and Transportation teams to fix receiving issues, update purchase orders, and handle COA approvals.
  • Protect inventory accuracy by completing cycle counts, investigating variances, and escalating discrepancies when needed.
  • Keep communication flowing with internal and external drivers so dock scheduling and transport paperwork are handled correctly.
  • Support a safe, tidy, and compliant workplace while following quality and food safety expectations.

What You Need

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid forklift operator licence from a recognized training provider for Counterbalance, Walkie, and Raymond Reach equipment.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP or a similar warehouse system.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Good attention to detail, solid numerical skills, and comfortable computer use.
  • The ability to work on your own with limited supervision and take initiative.
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, and handle light materials as part of the job.

Schedule

This role follows Monday to Friday business hours.

Pay

The hourly wage for this position is $27.24 to $29.56.

Preferred Experience

  • Post-secondary education.
  • Previous work in food manufacturing, bakery, or logistics settings.
  • Exposure to RF scanning tools.
  • Mechanical aptitude and practical troubleshooting ability.
  • Background in inventory control and cycle counting.

Physical Demands

  • Frequent standing, walking, and climbing for long periods.
  • Computer use, including keyboard and monitor work, for about 35% to 40% of the shift.
  • Safe operation of material handling equipment when required.
