About the Role

This is a full-time cleaning position based at Stafford City in Stafford Heights, Queensland, Australia. The roster is as follows: Monday and Tuesday from 07:00 to 15:06, Wednesday from 12:24 to 20:00, Thursday from 15:54 to 23:30, and Friday from 15:54 to 23:00.

Candidates with commercial or retail cleaning experience are encouraged to apply and join a team that contributes to the smooth running of the site. The role is paid under the Cleaning Services Award 2020.

Role Requirements

• You should present yourself professionally, take initiative, and be comfortable working independently.
• Experience in commercial or retail cleaning is preferred, although training will be provided on the job.
• A working understanding of chemical handling and correct cleaning methods is an advantage, but a willingness to learn is acceptable.
• Previous use of cleaning equipment such as scrubbers, buffing machines, and car park sweepers is preferred.
• You need a strong awareness of safe work practices and a commitment to following them.
• You must be physically capable of carrying out routine cleaning duties and walking for extended periods.
• Good listening ability and the capacity to follow directions are important.
• You must be able to communicate clearly in both spoken and written English.
• Flexibility to work varied hours and public holidays is required.
• Applicants must have valid work rights in Australia.
