Owned collectively by the Inuit of Nunavik through Makivik Corporation, the airline runs a fleet of more than 35 aircraft and employs over 1,000 people in a demanding northern aviation environment.

The company’s mission is to deliver safe, prompt, and high-quality air service to the communities and businesses of Northern Quebec. It values safety, innovation, excellence, customer satisfaction, and professional development.

Why This Role Matters

  • Follow all health and safety standards set by the company.
  • Handle additional tasks that support overall operations as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Completion of Secondary 4 or an equivalent level of relevant experience.
  • Ability to communicate in both French and English; knowledge of Inuktitut is an advantage.
  • Reliable, punctual, self-directed, organized, and dependable.
  • Comfortable working irregular or flexible schedules.
  • Capable of adjusting quickly to unexpected changes or new situations.
  • Able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver’s licence required.
  • No fixed base is assigned to the employee.

Work Conditions

This is a rotational role with a 2-week-on and 2-week-off schedule.
