Role Overview

The Fibrebond team in Minden, Louisiana is hiring a Cleaning Attendant within Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division. This role focuses on keeping the campus clean, organized, and safe for employees and visitors.

Work Schedule

The standard shift options are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm or 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and candidates should be available for either schedule. Overtime can extend beyond these hours and may be required occasionally.

Pay Details

The position pays $17.60 per hour. Compensation may vary depending on the candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications, and business or market factors.

The Cleaning Attendant is responsible for maintaining offices, breakrooms, restrooms, and shared spaces across the site. The position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work independently when needed to support a clean and safe environment.

Key Duties

  • Keep offices, conference rooms, stairwells, breakrooms, and other campus work areas clean and orderly.
  • Clean bathrooms throughout the campus, including scheduled servicing of port-au-johns.
  • Prepare rooms for meetings and conferences as needed.
  • Launder safety vests and bath towels.
  • Inform the supervisor about damaged equipment and carry out minor repairs when directed.
  • Follow all safety and security rules at the site.
  • Track and replenish cleaning supplies, water, paper products, and similar materials in assigned areas, then report inventory needs to the supervisor.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Ability to work either of the listed shifts and adjust start or end times when necessary.
  • Willingness to work in a role that may include mandatory overtime.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in janitorial work or housekeeping.
  • Experience handling cleaning chemicals, solutions, and hazardous materials.

Skills and Work Style

  • Positive attitude and ability to keep a quick work pace.
  • Comfort working both independently and with a team, with limited supervision.
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment.
  • Respect for confidentiality and sensitive company information.
  • Flexibility to rotate between shift timings as needed.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfort working from ladders, including climbing up and down.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform bending, crouching, and kneeling tasks.
  • Good manual dexterity for handling and manipulating objects precisely.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to wear PPE such as protective eyewear, hearing protection, and steel-toe boots, with or without reasonable accommodation.
