Role overview

This is an opportunity for dependable and enthusiastic cleaners to join the Auckland team. The position suits someone who enjoys a busy work environment, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in keeping spaces clean, tidy, and welcoming.

Work schedule: Monday and Friday, 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM

Pay: NZD 26.50 per hour

Key duties

  • Carry out general cleaning tasks to a consistently high standard.
  • Clean upholstered and other furnishings as needed.
  • Sweep and mop floors.
  • Clean toilets and related facilities.
  • Collect and dispose of rubbish.
  • Clean glass surfaces, both inside and outside.
  • Dust hard surfaces thoroughly.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate will already have some cleaning experience, preferably in a commercial setting. You should be comfortable working in a team, but also able to follow instructions and complete work independently when required.

Strong attention to detail, reliable attendance, and a professional approach to customer service are important. You should also understand workplace health and safety practices and be willing to work flexible hours or public holidays when needed. Experience using floor care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers will be considered an advantage.

Because of health and safety requirements, applicants must be at least 18 years old. All training, safety guidance, and workplace communication are delivered in English, so good spoken and written English skills are required.

Applicants must have valid work rights in New Zealand.
