Job Overview
As a Clean Team Lead at Walmart, you will be instrumental in ensuring a positive customer experience by maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities. Your role will encompass overseeing the upkeep of the store, from the exterior grounds to internal areas like restrooms and the receiving department, creating a welcoming and secure environment for shoppers and staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage janitorial staff to ensure all cleaning duties are performed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Oversee the cleanliness and safety of the entire store, including parking lots, restrooms, sales floors, and receiving areas.
- Implement and enforce cleaning schedules and protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any cleaning or safety concerns.
- Train new team members on cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred.
- Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting.
- Understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
