About the Opportunity
We are creating a digital concierge solution for 2 to 4 star hotels that turns each guest room into a channel for local service sales. Through a straightforward QR code experience, visitors can browse and reserve activities, wellness options, dining, and other experiences, while hotels generate new income without adding operational workload.
The founding team brings together two seasoned entrepreneurs with a strong history of launching and scaling successful businesses.
The immediate objective is to build the MVP, roll it out with pilot hotels and partners, and then prepare for seed fundraising.
Your Role
As CTO, you will act as a technical co-founder and own the full product and technology journey, from system design through launch. You will collaborate closely with the founders and take end-to-end responsibility for the technical direction of the platform.
Core Mission: First 0 to 6 Months
During the initial phase, your work will focus on getting the product built, tested, and ready for early validation and fundraising.
Phase 1: MVP Build (0 to 3 Months)
- Create the technical architecture and define how the platform will be structured.
- Build a mobile-first MVP, either as a web product or an app.
- Deliver the key product capabilities, including QR-based entry, location-aware content delivery, and booking plus payment workflows using APIs.
- Move quickly through iterations based on feedback from real pilot customers.
Phase 2: Validation and Fundraising
- Harden the platform and prepare it for scale.
- Bring in the first partners through APIs or a manual onboarding process where needed.
- Support technical review and due diligence discussions with investors.
Requirements
You should have a solid full-stack engineering foundation, such as experience with React, Next.js, Node, Python, or comparable technologies.
- Demonstrated success in building MVPs and systems that can scale.
- A strong product-oriented mindset, focused on solving problems rather than only shipping features.
- Helpful background in marketplace-style businesses, booking and payment integrations, and location-based services.
- A practical, hands-on approach with the ability to grow into a leadership position.
- Comfort working in a startup environment where speed matters more than perfection.
Compensation and Terms
- This role is equity-based and structured as a co-founder opportunity.
- No cash salary is planned for the first 3 to 4 months.
- The initial focus is on building the MVP and securing funding.
- Once fundraising is successful, salary and team growth are expected to follow.
