Job description
Company Overview
Ondo Finance is an international company creating modern financial products at the meeting point of traditional finance and blockchain technology. Its mission is to broaden access to high-quality investment opportunities through digital asset solutions that are transparent, efficient, and designed with compliance in mind. The organization works as a distributed, remote-first team, bringing together professionals across locations, time zones, and functions in a fast-moving environment that rewards thoughtful analysis, strong execution, and responsible innovation in digital finance.
Role Overview
The Chief Strategy Officer is a full-time remote leadership position focused on shaping and advancing Ondo Finance’s long-range strategic direction. This leader will own strategic planning, study market and competitive movements, and identify new opportunities for product growth, partnerships, and expansion into new markets. The role works closely with executive leadership to ensure company strategy stays aligned with financial objectives, operational capacity, and regulatory realities.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead major cross-functional strategy initiatives, perform high-level financial and business analysis, and develop strategic recommendations for senior leadership and the board. You will help drive execution of key initiatives, act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team, and support decision-making around investment priorities, risk management, and tracking progress toward strategic goals.
Qualifications
The position calls for strong capabilities in strategic and business planning, with hands-on experience building and rolling out corporate and product strategies. A solid background in finance and analytics is important, including financial modeling, forecasting, and assessing growth and investment opportunities. The ideal candidate brings executive-level leadership experience, a history of guiding cross-functional teams, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders effectively.
Experience in digital assets, financial services, or fintech is preferred, along with familiarity with regulatory, compliance, and market factors affecting the sector. Excellent communication and presentation abilities are needed, especially the skill to turn complex ideas into clear, actionable guidance. Success in a remote, distributed work setting and the ability to manage strategic work across multiple time zones are also essential. An advanced degree in business, finance, economics, or a related discipline is preferred, though equivalent practical experience may be accepted.
