Job description

About the Company

KaleidoSwap is a technology-led organization building advanced digital infrastructure, decentralized systems, and Web3-focused solutions. The company’s goal is to create scalable platforms and operating models that can support the evolving digital economy while encouraging innovation, collaboration, and long-term growth.

As part of its global expansion plans, the company is setting up a new subsidiary in Miami and is looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer to drive operational setup, organizational development, and business execution in this market.

Role Overview

This executive position will own the daily running of the Miami subsidiary, shape scalable business processes, improve operating efficiency, and help execute strategic growth plans. The right candidate will bring strong leadership experience in technology-oriented and fast-growing environments.

The COO will partner closely with senior stakeholders to build a high-performing team, strengthen operational performance, and keep the subsidiary aligned with the organization’s long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and lead the operational foundation of the Miami subsidiary.
  • Create and roll out scalable processes, policies, and performance systems.
  • Manage cross-functional functions such as Operations, Business Development, Strategy, Marketing, Human Resources, and Administration.
  • Define and track KPIs to raise productivity and overall organizational effectiveness.
  • Execute strategic initiatives and expansion plans across local and international markets.
  • Build governance, risk management, and compliance structures for operations.
  • Work with executive leadership on business planning, resource allocation, and growth strategy.
  • Recruit, guide, and develop strong teams while promoting accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Review operational performance and find ways to improve processes and reduce costs.
  • Support partnerships, corporate development, and market expansion activities.
  • Keep headquarters and the Miami subsidiary coordinated and aligned.
  • Prepare operational reports, forecasts, and business updates for executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Technology Management, or a related discipline, along with 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, corporate management, business strategy, or organizational development.

Candidates should have prior experience leading large teams and overseeing multi-functional operations, plus a strong understanding of emerging technology ecosystems, digital platforms, and innovation-driven business models. A proven track record of creating operational structures in high-growth organizations is important.

Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities are essential, along with experience in developing and executing strategic business plans. The position also calls for excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, a data-informed approach to decision-making, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, growth-focused environment.

Executive presence and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization are also expected.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with international expansion projects is an advantage. Familiarity with Web3 technologies, decentralized applications, blockchain infrastructure, or digital innovation ecosystems is also preferred. Prior operations experience in technology, fintech, SaaS, or other innovation-focused companies would be beneficial. An MBA or other advanced business qualification is considered a plus.

What We Offer

  • A chance to hold a major leadership role in building and scaling a new U.S. subsidiary.
  • Exposure to innovative technologies and fast-moving digital markets.
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial, and globally connected workplace.
  • Direct executive influence on company strategy and operational direction.
  • Opportunities for professional growth within a growing international organization.
