Job description
Position Overview
This role is a key operational position within a small, fully remote team. Although the title is executive in nature, the work is very hands-on and focused on production. You will partner closely with an experienced lead Project Manager to coordinate complex drop-ship orders for hotel renovation projects across the country.
As the business grows, you will help put practical operating guidelines in place, work closely with the estimating team to keep scope and pricing aligned, and support the development of future project management and administrative team members.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage assigned projects end to end, from submittals through final delivery, while overseeing factory-direct drop shipments so materials arrive on schedule and meet specifications.
- Use the company’s ERP platform every day to handle project information, change orders, purchasing, and scheduling with a high level of accuracy. Full training on the software will be provided.
- Partner closely with the current Project Manager to balance workloads and maintain smooth coordination with the estimating team so project handoffs from bid stage to execution are seamless.
- Help create repeatable remote workflows and serve as a support resource for new hires as the organization expands.
- Communicate regularly with manufacturers and remote jobsites to prevent and resolve issues related to materials, timing, or delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of experience in architectural doors, frames, and hardware, with a focus on commercial and hospitality work. Strong familiarity with takeoff and ERP software is important, along with the ability to quickly learn new technology platforms.
This position requires someone who can stay highly organized, responsive, and self-driven in a fully remote home-office setup. Deep knowledge of hollow metal, wood doors, and architectural hardware schedules is essential, as is strong problem-solving ability for drop-ship logistics. Occasional light travel may be needed for a specific jobsite or project milestone.
What We Offer
- Complete remote-work flexibility.
- In-depth onboarding and training on internal ERP systems.
- A chance to help shape operations in a fast-growing entrepreneurial environment.
- Close collaboration with company leadership and room for long-term professional development.
