Role Overview

Empleos CA is hiring a full-time remote Chief Operating Officer to take charge of everyday business operations and strengthen overall organizational performance. This leadership position focuses on building efficient systems, improving coordination across departments, and turning company strategy into practical execution.

What You Will Do

  • Direct daily operations and make sure core business activities run smoothly.
  • Design and roll out scalable processes that support growth and consistency.
  • Track operational KPIs and use them to measure progress and spot improvement areas.
  • Oversee budgets, staffing, and other resources to keep operations aligned with priorities.
  • Work closely with executive leadership on planning, strategy, and long-term expansion.
  • Support teams by improving workflows and removing bottlenecks in execution.
  • Promote a workplace culture built on ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Strengthen service quality while keeping business practices aligned with company policies and values.
  • Evaluate operational risks and help reduce issues that could affect performance.
  • Improve communication and coordination between functions, including across time zones and remote teams.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to translate business vision into clear operational plans.
  • Strong background in operations leadership, process improvement, and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with experience defining metrics and using data to guide decisions.
  • Solid finance and budgeting knowledge, including P&L ownership, forecasting, and resource planning.
  • Prior senior-level operations experience such as COO, VP of Operations, or a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfort working independently and leading effectively in a remote setup.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or a related subject; an MBA or other advanced degree is considered an advantage.
