Job description
About the Company
JumpTech Solutions is a technology group that buys, scales, and strengthens enterprise software businesses across Asia-Pacific. Its focus is on mission-critical products that improve productivity, reinforce security, and create clear operational gains. The business invests in established platforms and enhances them to build durable value for customers and stakeholders over the long term. Strategic expansion, innovation, and dependable execution are central to how the company supports enterprises in fast-changing, complex markets.
About the Role
JumpTech is hiring a Chief Operating Officer to act as the number two leader in the organization and, eventually, someone who could take the top job. The position is based in Singapore.
The company is creating a lasting home for leading software and cybersecurity businesses across Asia-Pacific. Its model is to acquire founder-led companies, protect the qualities that make each one unique, and back them with capital, operating discipline, and commercial reach so they can continue growing in value over many years.
Asia-Pacific is not being treated as a new market for the business; it is part of its core identity. The person stepping into this role will be expected to know the region deeply through direct operating and business-building experience, rather than by observation from afar.
Mandate
- Demonstrated leadership of a software business at scale, ideally as Chief Executive, President, or Chief Operating Officer of a company with revenue of US$250 million or more.
- Clear experience building and running businesses across Asia-Pacific markets, including India, Japan, ANZ, and ASEAN, with strong understanding of their commercial and cultural differences.
- Credibility to represent the group with investors, regulators, government bodies, and founding teams that join the platform.
- Sound judgment and steady leadership to keep the organization stable in any situation.
Qualifications and Skills Needed
- Capability in business planning and strategic management, with a track record of designing and delivering multi-year operating plans.
- Strong operations leadership, including management of complex distributed teams and improvement of processes, systems, and KPIs.
- Advanced analytical ability to review data, identify problems, and make decisions based on evidence across business units.
- Solid finance and budgeting background, including P&L responsibility, cost control, and effective allocation of resources.
- Substantial leadership experience in enterprise software, technology, or a related sector, preferably with Asia-Pacific exposure.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones.
- Proven ability to drive change, support organizational scaling, and build inclusive, high-performing teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Additional Information
This opportunity is intended as a long-term partnership. Candidates who have led and built businesses in the region and want to help shape one of Asia-Pacific’s most ambitious software platforms are invited to discuss the role confidentially.
Relevant themes associated with the role include leadership, enterprise software, cybersecurity, Asia-Pacific, Singapore, and President/COO responsibilities.
