Role Description
The Chief Operating Financial Officer (COFO) is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing both financial strategy and core operational performance at 5 Sigma Technologies, Inc. This remote position involves leading financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring they are aligned with the company’s operational objectives. The COFO will manage accounting and finance functions, monitor cash flow, review financial reports, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. This executive will collaborate with other senior leaders to develop and implement strategic plans, optimize costs, and drive sustainable growth. The role also entails overseeing key operational initiatives, refining internal controls and processes, and providing clear, data-backed recommendations to stakeholders and board members.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial reporting, compliance, and cash flow management.
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting and strategic planning, with the ability to align financial plans with organizational goals.
- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret complex financial and operational data and present actionable insights.
- Proven leadership experience in an executive or senior finance/operations capacity, preferably within the technology or high-growth sectors.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging with executive leadership, investors, and cross-functional teams.
- Experience with ERP and financial systems implementation or optimization, and comfort working in a fully remote setting.
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is required; an MBA, CPA, or equivalent advanced credential is preferred.
- High ethical standards, sound judgment, and a history of driving operational efficiency and financial discipline.
