Role Overview
The Chief Executive Advisor is a senior strategic partner to executive leadership, offering high-level counsel on growth, operating performance, corporate direction, financial outcomes, and organizational effectiveness. This position works in close coordination with the CEO, the wider executive group, and important stakeholders to strengthen decision-making, uncover opportunities, reduce business risk, and support sustainable long-term success.
What You’ll Do
- Guide the CEO and senior leadership on strategy development and business priorities.
- Review market movements, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform expansion plans.
- Recommend improvements to organizational design, operating efficiency, and overall business results.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of long-range business plans and corporate goals.
- Assess financial performance and help leaders make sound, data-backed decisions.
- Work with department heads to keep execution aligned with company objectives.
- Spot potential business risks and help shape mitigation approaches.
- Assist with mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and similar strategic initiatives when needed.
- Serve as a communication link between executive leadership and key stakeholders.
- Track core performance metrics and translate them into actionable strategic recommendations.
- Represent executive leadership in meetings, negotiations, and assigned special projects.
- Promote adherence to company policies, industry rules, and governance expectations.
What We’re Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Management, or a closely related field; an MBA is preferred.
- Significant experience in senior leadership, consulting, or executive advisory roles.
- Strong capability in strategic planning and business analysis.
- Solid understanding of financial and operational performance drivers.
- Demonstrated success influencing decisions at the executive level.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Comfort handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Preferred Background
- Prior experience advising C-suite executives or board members.
- Working knowledge of corporate governance and organizational development.
