Role Summary
The Chief Digital Officer will work full-time in a remote setup and will own the company’s digital direction from end to end. This leader will shape and drive the strategy for Rhod AI’s unified digital ecosystem, making sure product, technology, data, and customer experience all move in the same direction. The role involves building digital roadmaps, guiding transformation programs, and coordinating work across product, engineering, data, marketing, and operations. It also includes studying market movements, customer needs, and competitor activity to guide priorities and long-term decisions. In addition, the CDO will set governance standards, define performance measures, manage the digital portfolio, and ensure that security, scalability, and user experience are built into every digital initiative.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should bring a strong background in digital transformation, with a track record of leading large programs that bring products, platforms, and services together into a unified digital model. Experience in digital strategy and IT strategy is important, along with the ability to connect technology choices to business outcomes and the company’s long-term vision. The role also calls for strong strategic planning skills, including roadmap development, prioritization, and converting complex ideas into practical actions. Applicants should have substantial project management experience, having led multi-team and multi-stage digital programs from planning to delivery and performance tracking. Senior leadership experience in digital, product, or technology roles such as CDO, CPO, CTO, or VP Digital is preferred, ideally in a fast-growing or innovation-led organization. A solid understanding of AI-based products, cloud environments, security, automation, and data architecture is also expected, especially in platform or ecosystem settings. The leader must be capable of guiding distributed teams, encouraging collaboration across functions, and building an inclusive, high-performing remote culture. Strong analytical ability, communication skills, and stakeholder management experience are essential for working with executive leadership, partners, and outside stakeholders. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Business is required.
