Overview
EDAG Group is hiring for a full-time, on-site Change Management role based in Nzalae/Nzawa locations, Kitui County, Kenya. The position focuses on supporting project delivery, coordinating change requests, and keeping stakeholders aligned throughout the development process.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with project management work, including carrying out and overseeing all development topics related to the NSB series.
- Handle both quality-related matters, such as customer complaints, and non-quality matters, such as production-related concerns.
- Take part in NSB team meetings and the relevant committees to help maintain alignment among all involved parties.
- Create and keep up-to-date the documents needed for committee sessions and project reviews.
- Liaise with parts suppliers, system developers, and BTVs to keep project tasks moving smoothly.
- Oversee test execution and monitor schedules so deliverables are completed on time.
- Plan, sequence, and monitor project milestones and deadlines.
- Maintain detailed project records, status updates, and reporting materials.
- Follow up with suppliers regularly and keep communication active through updates and reminders.
- Draft and check change requests in systems such as PÄM and AVON.
- Manage the full lifecycle of change requests and action items so decisions and implementation happen promptly.
- Track weekly progress on change management work and share updates with stakeholders and the client.
- Escalate risks early, including possible schedule delays, and suggest mitigation measures.
- Launch and track approval workflows for proposed actions and changes.
- Manage and record approvals, sample inspections, and ensure customers can access implemented changes without delay.
Skills and Experience Needed
- Solid background in project coordination and management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work well with stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience dealing with quality issues and production-related challenges.
- Working knowledge of change management workflows and tools such as PÄM, AVON, or comparable systems.
- Ability to coordinate across suppliers and cross-functional teams effectively.
- Well-developed planning, organization, and documentation habits.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Comfortable managing timelines, deadlines, and urgent deliverables.
- Experience working with suppliers and managing follow-ups.
- High attention to detail, especially when validating information and checking for consistency.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint, for reporting and presentations.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-moving environment with limited supervision.
