Job Summary

Reporting to the Global COO, Delacon, a global technology business acquired by Volaris Group in 2023 and founded in 2003, is seeking a CEO/General Manager. Delacon specializes in Call Intelligence and Conversation Analytics, empowering organizations to achieve measurable commercial outcomes through AI-driven insights. The platform integrates call tracking, telephony, marketing attribution, and speech analytics to enhance marketing effectiveness and link customer interactions to business performance.

Job Description

The incoming leader will be tasked with accelerating profitable growth, reinforcing revenue stability, scaling AI-driven value creation, maintaining organizational trust and culture, enhancing commercial predictability, establishing robust repeatable growth mechanisms, and improving commercial effectiveness through data-driven growth systems.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Business Leadership

  • Formulate annual and long-term strategic plans.
  • Translate overarching strategy into actionable quarterly execution priorities.
  • Lead the planning, forecasting, and quarterly sales review (QSR) processes.
  • Ensure alignment across commercial, operational, and product priorities.

Financial & Commercial Leadership

Take full ownership of the Profit & Loss (P&L) statement, encompassing:

  • Revenue growth initiatives.
  • Profitability targets.
  • Pricing strategy development and execution.
  • Customer retention programs.
  • Working capital management.
  • Operational efficiency improvements.

Growth & Go-To-Market Leadership

  • Evaluate and enhance the go-to-market (GTM) strategy and structure.
  • Improve the quality of the sales pipeline and forecast accuracy.
  • Spearhead enterprise growth initiatives.
  • Cultivate and strengthen strategic partnerships.
  • Scale the Professional Services capabilities.
  • Refine customer value propositions and implement proof-based selling methodologies.

Product, Technology & AI Leadership

While not requiring deep technical architecture expertise, the leader must possess:

  • Strong technological understanding and fluency.
  • Credibility and effective collaboration with product and technical teams.
  • A solid grasp of AI-enabled business transformation.
  • The ability to connect technology decisions to tangible commercial results.

Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Manage and lead distributed teams across Australia and India.
  • Foster leadership capabilities within the organization.
  • Enhance accountability across all levels.
  • Strengthen succession planning processes.
  • Maintain organizational trust and cohesion during periods of change.

Candidate Profile

Required Experience

  • Prior experience as a CEO or General Manager.
  • Proven track record of full P&L responsibility.
  • Experience scaling technology businesses, ideally in the $5M–$15M+ revenue range.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS and recurring revenue business models.
  • Experience leading diverse, cross-functional organizations.

Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to enterprise software solutions.
  • Experience with AI transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with the APAC market.
  • Experience in portfolio management or decentralized operating structures.

While experience in Martech, Adtech, Call Analytics, or related industries is beneficial, it is not a prerequisite. Demonstrated success in scaling technology companies is valued more highly than specific industry expertise. The ability to translate technical and product capabilities into demonstrable customer value and commercial success is a significant asset.

Compensation

A competitive executive compensation package is offered, including a fixed base salary, Short-Term Incentive (STI), and Long-Term Incentive (LTI), all structured to support sustainable long-term value creation.

The Challenge

The objective is not to overhaul Delacon but to elevate its existing strengths. The role requires leading an AI-enabled business with solid operational and commercial foundations through its next growth phase, while safeguarding the culture, trust, and execution quality that have defined its success.
