About the team
The Corporate IT function supports the business by keeping employee systems secure, dependable, and efficient. Within this group, the Centralised License Admin (CLA) team oversees enterprise software licensing across Sea’s global operations, including Shopee. The team maintains a single source of truth for software entitlements, helps ensure alignment with regional IT standards, and works closely with Procurement and other internal stakeholders to keep essential tools available to users.
Role overview
In this position, you will help run the day-to-day administration of enterprise software licenses. Your work will involve keeping allocation records accurate, handling user requests, and making sure licensing activity follows internal IT policy. The role suits someone who pays close attention to detail, is eager to learn, and is interested in IT operations and process coordination.
License administration and management
- Keep detailed and accurate records of software licenses and entitlements for the assigned systems and business units.
- Support the handling of license requests, user assignments, and deactivations according to approved processes.
- Partner with the Procurement team to track license availability and usage limits correctly.
User and technical support
- Assist with basic requests related to licenses, including access, activation, and allocation concerns.
- Coordinate with helpdesk and engineering teams to ensure users are provisioned and deprovisioned smoothly.
- Maintain and refresh SOPs as well as internal documentation and guides.
Compliance and governance
- Make sure license usage remains in line with internal IT rules and standards.
- Support audit requests by preparing accurate license information when needed.
- Review utilisation data to spot opportunities for optimisation.
Process improvement and reporting
- Help prepare reports that improve visibility into license allocation and usage.
- Contribute to automation or workflow improvement efforts led by senior team members.
- Share suggestions that help improve accuracy, efficiency, and the quality of documentation.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of ITSM or asset management platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with enterprise software administration tools like Microsoft 365, Adobe, and Zoom.
- Ability to work with Excel or similar reporting tools is an advantage.
- Understanding of general IT workflows or asset management concepts.
- ITIL Foundation certification, or an equivalent qualification, is considered a plus.
