Casual General Labourer

Role Overview

Show Support is looking for casual general labourers to join its event crew in Derrimut, Victoria. This is an onsite contract role offering flexible shifts across a range of venues and event settings.

What the Job Involves

• Work according to your own availability, with shifts that can include evenings, nights, and weekends.
• Take on physical labour tasks such as manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Assist with event setup activities and use basic hand tools when required.
• Work across different and energetic venues, with opportunities to travel and earn while on working holiday arrangements.
• Receive weekly payments along with superannuation, without needing to raise invoices or follow up on payments.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes

• Comfortable with physically demanding work and lifting heavy items.
• Must have steel-cap boots and other appropriate PPE.
• Prior experience setting up events is preferred.
• Experience using basic hand tools is preferred.
• Strong spoken and written English skills.
• Good team player who can cooperate with others on site.
• Able to listen carefully and follow instructions.
• Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable with changing work conditions.

Compensation

The pay rate is between AUD 32.00 and AUD 42.00 per hour.
