Job description

Role overview

AGMC is looking for a Cashier to manage customer payments and related financial documentation for vehicle services, parts, and sales in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on accurate transaction handling, record keeping, and smooth coordination with finance and service teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Process customer payments by cash, cheque, and card for vehicle services, parts, and sales with accuracy.
  • Issue receipts, invoices, and payment records correctly and keep them properly filed.
  • Prepare bank deposits according to company procedures.
  • Close job cards quickly and make sure financial documents are complete.
  • Keep transaction records accurate for audits, reporting, and internal review.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports, financial statements, and other documents when required.
  • Follow financial controls and compliance rules to reduce the risk of fraud or mistakes.
  • Deliver courteous, efficient service and respond to payment- and invoice-related queries promptly.
  • Work closely with finance and service teams to ensure transactions are handled without delays.
  • Assist with administrative duties that support dealership operations.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, standards, health and safety requirements, ethical conduct, and organizational values.

Performance expectations

  • Keep financial records and reports accurate and delivered on time.
  • Track cash flow, balance daily transactions, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Meet accounting, tax, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Complete month-end and year-end closing tasks efficiently.
  • Support audits with minimal issues or observations.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service that supports business goals.
  • Build customer and partner loyalty through dependable service.
  • Continue improving through personal and professional development.

Skills and qualifications

  • High school diploma or bachelor’s degree; finance or accounting certification is an added advantage.
  • Previous work as a cashier or in customer service is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of cash handling and payment processing.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, ideally in the automotive or luxury brand sector.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles, tax rules, and financial reporting.
  • Comfort using POS systems and basic office tools such as MS Excel.
