About Wynn Al Marjan Island
Wynn Al Marjan Island is being developed as a luxury beachfront entertainment destination in the United Arab Emirates, with opening planned for 2027. Situated under 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, the integrated resort will feature 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, a nightclub, and a five-star spa. The property is currently under construction on an island extending into the Arabian Gulf.
Role Overview
The resort is hiring a Cashier - Cage to join its Cage team. This role focuses on accurate transaction handling, strong controls, and professional guest service in a regulated gaming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle cash exchanges, chip redemptions, marker issuance, and account settlements for gaming guests with accuracy.
- Deliver polite, discreet, and professional service at all times.
- Follow internal control standards, cash-handling procedures, and all applicable regulatory rules.
- Record and reconcile all transactions correctly at the end of each shift.
- Escalate suspicious behavior, discrepancies, or policy breaches to the Cage Supervisor.
- Support the preparation of daily transaction summaries and balancing reports.
- Track available cash, chips, and related instruments, and inform supervisors when replenishment is needed.
- Assist with drop and count activities while maintaining security and precision.
- Take part in team briefings and training sessions.
- Maintain the expected grooming and conduct standards of the resort.
- Contribute to a cooperative, respectful team culture that supports service excellence.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should have a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification. A diploma or associate degree in finance, business, or hospitality is preferred. The role requires 1 to 2 years of experience in cash handling, banking, or cage operations, along with a solid understanding of financial procedures and gaming regulations. Candidates must be trustworthy, detail-oriented, and able to handle sensitive transactions with discretion. Familiarity with gaming systems and Microsoft Office is expected, as are strong communication and customer service skills. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts based on business needs is also required.
