Role summary

As a Caregiver in the Cambridge village, you will be part of a team responsible for supporting residents’ day-to-day wellbeing and helping maintain a safe, healthy, and enjoyable living environment. The role is hands-on and centered on personal care and practical support.

Key duties

  • Serve meals and assist residents during mealtimes.
  • Support personal hygiene tasks, including showering.
  • Help carry out individual care plan activities such as walks and exercise.
  • Support recreational and social activities, including puzzles and table tennis.

Work pattern

This is a permanent position with a roster of four days on followed by two days off. The role requires between 60 and 80 hours per fortnight, and you must be willing to rotate across morning, afternoon, and night shifts.

What you will bring

We are looking for someone who is naturally compassionate, patient, and empathetic, with the temperament to make a meaningful difference in residents’ lives. Prior experience in aged care or a similar support role is expected, along with the ability to communicate clearly and build trusted relationships.
