Role Overview

The Career Consultant, also referred to as a Sales Consultant, is responsible for driving individual sales results for Cambridge Retail Training Programs. This position focuses on proactive outreach, persuasive communication, cold calling, lead generation, and helping prospective learners understand the value and career benefits of enrolling in the institute’s training offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet personal sales targets for Cambridge Retail Training Programs.
  • Reach out to prospective clients through cold calling.
  • Market and sell training programs mainly by tele-calling.
  • Maintain accurate records of client conversations and follow-ups in the CRM system.
  • Generate new leads through multiple outreach channels.
  • Keep up to date on products, pricing, policies, and campaign updates.
  • Contribute to sales expansion and profitability goals.
  • Apply retention techniques to strengthen client relationships.
  • Use structured sales scripts to influence purchase decisions.
  • Assist in team-based sales efforts and initiatives.
  • Communicate professionally at all times.
  • Forecast sales outcomes and review performance trends.
  • Handle customer issues and work toward grievance resolution.
  • Support service delivery in line with ISO quality expectations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a respected organization.
  • Strong motivation and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent spoken communication and voice modulation abilities.
  • Proven background in tele-sales.
  • Comfortable working in a busy, competitive setting.
  • Good networking and relationship-building skills.
