Role overview
Caremark is hiring Care Assistants for its Bromley service area. This position involves supporting people in their own homes in a respectful, person-centred way that protects dignity and encourages independence. You will visit customers at home and provide help with everyday living tasks agreed with the customer and Caremark.
The support provided is intended to mirror the kind of practical help a family member might reasonably offer. Typical duties may include personal care and domestic assistance.
Hours and pay
Salary starts from £12.71 per hour. Both full-time and part-time working hours are available.
What you will do
- Assist customers with washing and dressing
- Support shopping and meal preparation
- Prompt customers to take medication as needed
- Help with day-to-day routines
- Provide respite support
- Encourage social activities and leisure pursuits
- Support customers in getting out into the community
