Job description

Role overview

Emirates is looking for cabin crew members with a polished personality, strong adaptability, and the confidence to make customers feel comfortable in every situation. As the airline’s front-facing representative, you’ll guide passengers, respond to their needs, and ensure they receive attentive support throughout the journey.

This role goes well beyond hospitality. Safety is the top priority, and you’ll be expected to handle cabin service, security, and safety procedures with confidence and professionalism. Training is delivered at Emirates’ modern facility in Dubai.

What Emirates is looking for

  • More than 1 year of experience in hospitality or customer service
  • A positive, service-oriented mindset and the ability to work well with colleagues in a multicultural environment
  • Minimum education of high school graduate / Grade 12
  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills
  • Minimum height of 160 cm and the ability to reach 212 cm while standing on tiptoes, so emergency equipment can be accessed on all aircraft types
  • No visible tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform unless they are covered with bandages or cosmetics
  • Willingness to be based in Dubai and meet UAE employment visa requirements

Working style and expectations

You should be committed to consistently high standards, able to think in a solution-focused way, and comfortable working a demanding schedule. The role also requires a genuine, authentic approach to customer care and an understanding of different cultures. The ideal candidate reflects a professional, empathetic, progressive, visionary, and cosmopolitan attitude.

Pay and benefits

The compensation package includes a fixed monthly salary, hourly flying pay, and overseas meal allowance. The listed pay for Grade II (Economy Class) is based on the following: basic salary of AED 4,980 per month, flying pay of AED 69.60 per hour, and an average total pay of AED 11,244 per month. Flying pay is based on an average of 80 to 100 hours per month.

Meal allowances for overnight stops are credited in arrears the following month. The company also provides hotel accommodation and transport to and from the airport.

Additional benefits include a tax-free salary, profit share, concessional travel, relocation assistance for settling in Dubai, free accommodation, free transportation, medical insurance, life insurance, dental insurance, and discounted flights for friends and family.
