Job description

Role overview

Join one of Europe’s largest airline groups as Cabin Crew in Birmingham. The team operates across a large network of bases and serves hundreds of thousands of guests every day on thousands of flights. This role is focused on delivering a safe, welcoming and high-quality onboard experience.

What the role offers

Cabin Crew members receive comprehensive, internationally recognised training at no cost, along with a competitive salary structure, a roster designed around operational needs, and strong travel benefits across a broad destination network. Prior aviation experience is not required, as full training is provided to equip new crew members with the core skills needed for the job.

There are also clear growth paths within the cabin services team, with potential progression into supervisory and management roles over time.

Work pattern and job demands

This position is lively and rewarding, but it is also demanding and safety-led. You will need to be available for both early and late shifts. Early duties can start as early as 5:00 am, while late rosters may finish around midnight. Candidates who prefer regular morning hours may find the schedule challenging.

Selection process note

As part of recruitment, applicants must complete a compulsory English proficiency assessment and a situational judgement test. Not completing these assessments will mean you cannot move forward to interview.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a consistently safe, professional and attentive inflight service to passengers.
  • Support a top-tier customer experience throughout the journey.
  • Work effectively on early and late shift rosters.
  • Follow safety procedures and prioritise passenger well-being at all times.
  • Represent the airline with energy, friendliness and a can-do attitude.

Requirements

  • You must have the unrestricted right to live and work in the UK and/or the ability to travel freely throughout the airline network.
  • Your height should fall roughly between 5'2" (157 cm) and 6'2" (188 cm).
  • You need to be able to swim 25 metres unaided and also assist another person.
  • You should be comfortable working a shift-based roster.
  • You must speak and write English confidently enough to pass the language assessment.
  • You should enjoy dealing with the public and delivering strong service.
  • Useful personal traits include flexibility, hard work, an outgoing nature and a friendly manner.
  • A genuine interest in travel and meeting new people is important.

Perks and benefits

  • Free internationally recognised cabin crew training.
  • Paid training allowance.
  • Unlimited discounted staff travel.
  • Uncapped sales bonus.
  • Fixed roster pattern.
  • Opportunity to gain experience within a large cabin crew network.
  • Chance to travel and explore new destinations with colleagues on days off.
  • Free uniform in the first year, followed by an annual allowance.
  • Employment with a financially stable airline.

Competencies

Customer service, interpersonal ability, sales awareness, and teamwork are key strengths for this role.

Additional information
