Role overview
The Cabin Attendant is responsible for ensuring passengers enjoy a comfortable and well-managed experience on board each flight. The role also covers catering duties and a range of administrative and training tasks when not flying.

Key responsibilities
- Work under the direction of the Pilot in Command for daily flight operations.
- Flag and document any cabin defects or maintenance concerns with the Pilot in Command.
- Partner with pilots, maintenance teams, and cleaning staff to keep the aircraft clean and fully serviced.
- Complete pre-flight inspections of cabin equipment before each departure.
- For Part 91 flights, ensure passengers follow applicable federal regulations during flight.
- Explain the aircraft’s safety features to passengers before takeoff.
- Take charge of the cabin and assist during emergencies, medical incidents, or evacuations.
- Use emergency equipment such as fire extinguishers, life rafts, oxygen systems, and AEDs.
- Walk passengers through cabin systems including entertainment, high-speed data, and telephone features.
- Support passengers with carry-on baggage and seating arrangements, including assistance for children and passengers with disabilities.
- Maintain thorough working knowledge of all service procedures and equipment for the assigned aircraft.
- Keep the cabin tidy and orderly at all times, including bedding and locker areas.
- Arrange and purchase interior items as requested by the owner.
- Prepare and print menus and weather cards.
- Plan, buy, prepare, and serve meals and beverages.
- Build and maintain stock levels while sourcing vendors for cabin, lavatory, and galley supplies.
- Ensure the aircraft is set to specification before each flight.
- Maintain client profile updates, post-trip reports, catering reports, and other required records.
- Develop and keep current the aircraft-specific manual for the assigned aircraft.
- Manage expense accounts.
- Stay current with mandatory training, annual recurrent safety training, medical training, and company induction programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- May supervise or train contract or part-time cabin crew members.
- Represent Jet Aviation professionally inside and outside the company, including with industry groups, regulators, and the General Dynamics network.
Requirements
- High school diploma is mandatory.
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Minimum 2 years of culinary and/or premium food service experience.
- Candidates must be 21 years of age or older.
- Flight Safety International or equivalent corporate cabin attendant recurrent training is required.
- MedAire Management of Inflight Illness and Injury certification, or an equivalent CPR/AED qualification, is required.
- Strong organizational and communication abilities are needed.
- Solid knowledge of the aviation industry is preferred.
- Ability and willingness to supervise or train others is an advantage.
- Strong project management experience is desirable.
- A pleasant, friendly, and service-oriented manner is essential.

- Physical ability to handle tasks involving standing, walking, sitting, lifting, reaching, bending, climbing, and operating in varied environments is required.

Additional information
This role includes both operational and non-flying responsibilities, including catering, paperwork, training, and aircraft readiness tasks. The employee may be required to work in a hangar environment that can become very hot or cold depending on the season.
