Job description

Role overview

Storable is hiring a Business Systems Support Analyst to act as the initial point of contact for Salesforce and go-to-market systems requests. In this role, you will handle everyday support work, complete small configuration updates, assist with minor fixes, and pass more complex issues to the Business Systems team. The position is suited to someone who enjoys troubleshooting, stays organized under pressure, and wants to deepen technical expertise. It is also positioned as a growth opportunity toward Salesforce Administration or Business Systems Analysis.

Request intake and triage

  • Review and manage incoming issues from standard support channels such as ticketing tools, Slack triage, and email.
  • Sort requests by urgency, business impact, and existing triage guidelines.
  • Carry out first-pass analysis to identify whether the issue is caused by user behavior, data, configuration, or a platform defect.
  • Record non-routine work and send it into the Continuous Improvement intake process with sufficient background information.

Salesforce administration support

  • Handle basic user administration, including account provisioning, deactivation, permission changes, and license assignments.
  • Make small configuration updates such as page layout tweaks, list view changes, reports, dashboards, and simple Flow adjustments.
  • Complete minor data maintenance tasks like CSV uploads, bulk edits, and duplicate cleanup.

Bug investigation and resolution

  • Diagnose small automation problems, validation rule issues, missing mappings, and workflow breakdowns.
  • Recreate reported issues to help clarify them before escalation.
  • Fix low-complexity problems independently and document the underlying cause clearly.

Escalation coordination and ownership

  • Coordinate issues that require deeper technical attention from other team members.
  • Partner with Salesforce Administrators, Developers, and Business Systems Analysts to keep escalated work moving efficiently.
  • Own stakeholder communication, including progress updates, expected timing, and closure summaries.
  • Monitor repeated incidents to uncover trends that may need broader system changes.

Documentation upkeep and improvement

  • Spot mistakes or missing details in internal and customer-facing documentation.
  • Revise FAQs, job aids, and process documentation so they match current practice.
  • Collaborate with BSAs and PMs to ensure updates follow governance requirements.
  • Maintain a record of known issues and promote visibility across teams.

Continuous improvement and system health

  • Raise recurring issues, friction points, and quality concerns with the Business Systems team.
  • Join Continuous Improvement discussions when needed and represent recurring BAU trends.
  • Recommend better intake flows, triage rules, user messaging templates, and documentation standards.
  • Keep current on Salesforce platform fundamentals and team processes.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate brings at least 2 years of experience in technical support, helpdesk work, business analysis, or another systems-focused role. They should understand Salesforce fundamentals such as objects, fields, layouts, reports, and permissions, and be capable of diagnosing problems methodically. Strong written and verbal communication, excellent organization, and careful attention to detail are essential. The role also calls for comfort with unfamiliar systems, strong documentation habits, and the ability to use AI tools to improve operational efficiency and productivity. A Salesforce Administrator Certification is required or in progress; Advanced Admin or a higher credential is preferred.

Preferred background

  • Experience supporting go-to-market teams such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, or Support.
  • Exposure to tools like HubSpot, DocuSign, or similar business systems.
  • Prior involvement in ticket triage or operational support workflows.
  • Interest in building a career path toward Salesforce Administration or Business Systems Analysis.
