  • Oversee retailer compliance, complete annual certification and training, coordinate mystery shopper activity, and apply compliance rules and sanctions where needed.
  • Offer retail partners practical support on sales performance, stock control, responsible gaming, and day-to-day operational improvement.
  • Carry out planned sales visits, secure high-visibility product placement, manage merchandising and stock levels, and encourage use of digital engagement tools.
  • Deliver training to retailers on compliance, responsible play, and best-practice standards so regulatory expectations are met.
  • Keep accurate call notes, complete store audits, manage ticket orders and returns, and handle account-related queries.
  • Roll out promotional activity, advise on new games and market developments, and make sure National Lottery products are displayed prominently.
  • Work with Sales Management, Finance, and Business Assurance on credit control matters, compliance investigations, and retailer concerns.
  • Represent the brand at marketing events, agent conferences, and PR activities to support visibility and retailer engagement.

Requirements

  • A degree or diploma in sales, customer relationship management, or a closely related discipline is preferred.
  • Between 1 and 3 years of experience in a retail sales environment.
  • Strong communication skills for dealing effectively with both internal teams and external contacts.
  • Dependable timekeeping and a reliable approach to daily work.
  • Ability to build and sustain positive relationships with customers and internal colleagues.
  • Comfort working as part of a team.
  • A results-focused mindset, with motivation to hit trade targets and handle customer challenges or objections.
  • Good organisation and readiness in the field, with the tools and information needed for the day’s work.
  • Awareness of market conditions and the ability to plan ahead for new opportunities.
