Job description
Role Overview
Concorde is hiring a Business Process and Research Analyst to help expand services and improve internal workflows so the organization can grow in a scalable and efficient way. This position is part of the Business Development function and supports both internal process improvement efforts and external business development work.
In this role, you will carry out structured research, analyze processes, and assess the competitive landscape to guide decisions on service expansion, potential clients, and market fit. You will examine business opportunities, study industry- and niche-specific needs, and turn your findings into clear decision-support materials for internal stakeholders. The position connects operational knowledge with market insight to ensure growth opportunities match the company’s strengths, services, and strategic direction.
What You Will Do
- Work with Business Development, Operations, IT, Finance, and other teams to identify business needs, define the core problem, and shape opportunities for process improvement and service support.
- Carry out organized research and current-state reviews through stakeholder conversations, document analysis, workflow observation, and targeted investigation.
- Create documentation for both current and future workflows, including handoffs, dependencies, decision points, and operational effects, using company standards.
- Spot inefficiencies, missing steps, risks, and improvement opportunities in existing processes that affect service delivery, growth, or customer experience.
- Prepare concise analysis summaries and recommendation materials that help leaders evaluate options and set priorities.
- Convert research insights into clear requirements, process documents, and supporting materials that can guide implementation planning.
- Run discovery meetings, working sessions, and cross-functional discussions to confirm findings and align on proposed solutions.
- Partner with technical and operational teams so business goals, solution design, and implementation practicality stay aligned.
- Assist with testing, validation, and readiness checks to confirm that changes match the documented requirements.
- Create and update process narratives, SOP revisions, guidance documents, and adoption support materials when needed.
- Track results after implementation using feedback and available metrics, then recommend adjustments to improve adoption and effectiveness.
- Perform market and industry research to assess new business opportunities, including prospective clients, niche markets, and service expansion ideas.
- Carry out initial competitor review to understand market position, service fit, and potential differentiation from current and emerging competitors.
- Review external requirements, submission steps, operating expectations, and data exchange needs related to prospective clients or third-party partners.
- Build structured research summaries, comparison analyses, and recommendation briefs for internal stakeholders and leadership.
- Help evaluate the best-fit opportunities by comparing outside needs with internal capability, readiness, and scalability.
- Coordinate with BizDev leadership and operational stakeholders to clarify assumptions, risks, dependencies, and feasibility for new offerings or client-specific solutions.
- Turn research outputs and external insights into clear requirements, process artifacts, and decision-support documentation.
- Facilitate sessions to validate findings, align on recommendations, and refine approaches before leadership review.
- Work with technical and operational teams to make sure opportunity evaluations reflect real implementation constraints and operational conditions.
- Support testing, validation, and readiness work as new services or workflows move toward launch.
- Review post-launch outcomes and feedback to guide ongoing improvements and future opportunity assessments.
What You Will Bring
- Experience with business process analysis, requirements gathering, and workflow evaluation in operational or service-based settings.
- Ability to turn complex or unclear problems into organized documentation and practical recommendations.
- Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and evidence-based analysis.
- Experience leading stakeholder discussions and building effective relationships across multiple business areas.
- Familiarity with process mapping and workflow modeling methods such as BPMN or similar approaches.
- Experience creating business-ready materials such as process maps, SOPs, requirement narratives, and analysis summaries.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and consistent follow-through across multiple active projects.
- Comfort working in changing environments where priorities and scope may shift as understanding develops.
- Interest in continuous learning and professional growth in business analysis and process improvement.
- Relevant experience in process analysis and workflow design, such as process optimization, SOP standardization, or workflow design for service scaling.
What You Will Love Working Here
- A collaborative, mission-driven environment centered on operational excellence and thoughtful growth.
- Chances to work across different business areas and contribute to initiatives that shape service development.
- Exposure to complex operational problems and visibility into leadership decisions.
- A culture that values clarity, accountability, professionalism, and constructive feedback.
- Support for learning, mentorship, and professional development.
- An environment that encourages curiosity, initiative, and continuous improvement.
