Role overview
CRH Americas Building Products is looking for a Business Performance Analyst to drive financial performance reporting, analysis, and insight creation across enterprise initiatives. The position focuses on CapEx, pricing, transportation, and cost analytics, and requires a highly analytical professional with strong financial understanding and advanced data skills. The role works independently to turn complex data into clear, decision-ready outputs for leadership.
Location
This is a hybrid role based in the Atlanta, GA corporate office.
What you will do
- Work closely with teams such as Finance BP, Operations, Procurement, and other partners, approaching them as customers to gather, prioritize, and deliver reporting and dashboard requests aligned to business needs.
- Pull and analyze data using SQL.
- Create and improve dashboards in Excel, Tableau, and Power BI.
- Convert operational information into insights related to P&L, ROI, and variances.
- Coordinate with the data and analytics team to keep data aligned.
- Check data quality through regular auditing, reconciliation, and validation of important financial and operational datasets.
- Handle ad hoc analysis and special projects as business priorities change.
- Support business case development, track project spend, and monitor ROI outcomes.
- Act as a contact for issues involving reporting tools, data refresh problems, and basic BI logic.
- Help maintain governance for enterprise benefit tracking.
- Create and update SOPs for recurring reporting, dashboards, and data refresh workflows.
What we are looking for
- 2 to 5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, business analysis, or data analytics.
- Ability to manage stakeholders effectively and translate business needs into structured reporting and analysis.
- Strong accuracy and the ability to stay effective in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities.
- Curious, improvement-oriented mindset with interest in better processes, reporting quality, and automation.
- Working knowledge of financial basics such as budgets, spend tracking, and ROI, along with interest in learning procurement, operations, sales, and cost-tracking processes.
- Prior exposure to project coordination or project support is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Strong command of SQL, Excel, and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation abilities.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and adaptability across functions.
- Ability to explain financial concepts clearly to colleagues without a finance background.
- Experience using ERP platforms such as SAP for extraction, reporting, reconciliation, and analysis.
