The Business Optimisation Director for the JAPAC region is a pivotal senior leadership position focused on revolutionizing how Tag delivers client value. This role involves integrating people, processes, and technology across Growth, Product, Operations, and Client Services. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to architect and implement advanced operating models that enhance delivery performance, boost operational efficiency, and foster sustainable growth. This position demands a strong combination of commercial insight, operational mastery, and technical understanding. Serving as a crucial link between product innovation and operational execution, you will translate sophisticated technological capabilities into practical client solutions, driving adoption and continuous enhancement throughout Tag's regional delivery network. As a highly visible, client-facing leader, you will influence senior stakeholders both internally and externally, ensuring transformation initiatives yield tangible business results for both clients and Tag.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Solutioning and Transformation: Partner with Client Leads, Country Heads, and senior client stakeholders to pinpoint operational challenges, identify growth avenues, and define transformation priorities. Lead the design of future operating models utilizing people, process, automation, and AI to elevate client outcomes and commercial performance. Facilitate discovery workshops, operational assessments, and strategic planning sessions to grasp client needs and organizational constraints. Translate complex business issues into practical, scalable solutions that balance client requirements, operational realities, and commercial goals. Develop implementation roadmaps and transformation programs to ensure successful adoption and long-term value creation. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building credibility through a profound understanding of creative operations, production workflows, and emerging technologies. Present recommendations and business cases to senior client stakeholders, clearly articulating operational benefits and commercial impact. Support strategic pursuits and growth opportunities by demonstrating how Tag's operating model, technology, and expertise can address client challenges and provide a competitive edge. Ensure all proposed solutions are feasible, commercially sound, and align with regional and global operating standards.
- Delivery Optimisation and Best Practice: Serve as a senior leader within the JAPAC Delivery function, spearheading continuous improvement across regional content studios and delivery teams. Develop and execute regional optimisation programs focused on enhancing efficiency, scalability, quality, and margin. Establish governance frameworks, standards, and best-practice methodologies for market consistency. Collaborate with Product and Operations teams to integrate technology roadmaps into practical operational capabilities and daily delivery processes. Lead the implementation of automation, AI, and workflow technologies across the studio network to boost productivity and client results. Ensure new tools and capabilities are seamlessly integrated into standard operations, not just isolated innovation projects. Monitor operational performance to identify opportunities for workflow streamlining, inefficiency elimination, and improved delivery effectiveness. Create regional change management plans to support the successful adoption of new processes, technologies, and work methods. Work with local leadership teams to ensure optimisation initiatives are effectively implemented and sustained. Champion a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and innovation within the delivery community.
- Product SME and Growth Leadership: Act as the regional subject matter expert for Tag's technology ecosystem, automation capabilities, and product offerings. Maintain an in-depth understanding of current and future product functionalities, translating technical features into clear business value for clients and internal teams. Serve as the vital connection point between Product, Growth, Client Services, and Delivery teams. Provide market feedback, client insights, and operational requirements to Product teams to inform future product development and prioritization. Develop compelling narratives, use cases, and solution frameworks to empower client teams in effectively positioning Tag's capabilities. Partner with Growth teams to support strategic opportunities, client presentations, and solution development. Represent Tag's technology and operational strengths in high-level client discussions, workshops, and industry events. Drive awareness and adoption of product innovations across regional delivery teams to maximize ROI and operational impact. Ensure product capabilities are consistently translated into actionable programs, delivery enhancements, and measurable client outcomes. Act as a thought leader within the organization, contributing to the future direction of operational transformation, automation, and AI-enabled delivery.
