The organization is an expanding technology consulting firm that focuses on helping businesses improve through process automation, artificial intelligence, cloud solutions, data analytics, and enterprise software. As the company grows, it is looking for a seasoned Business Operations Manager to strengthen internal execution, support the team, and keep daily work aligned with business goals.

Role Summary

This position is central to keeping operations running smoothly. The Business Operations Manager will coordinate day-to-day business activity, support team leads and managers, and help ensure the organization remains productive, accountable, and aligned with its objectives. The role works closely with leadership across multiple functions and is suited to someone who enjoys building better processes, developing people, and improving performance in a collaborative environment. The role may be arranged as either part-time or full-time based on experience and availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct everyday business operations and make sure company priorities are carried out effectively.
  • Lead, coach, and support team leads and managers while holding teams accountable for results.
  • Create, refine, and document workflows, internal procedures, and operating policies.
  • Track project progress, team output, and organizational measures to confirm targets are being met.
  • Work with leadership on planning, strategy, and company growth initiatives.
  • Assist with employee development, performance reviews, and growth-focused initiatives.
  • Promote a healthy work culture built on teamwork, responsibility, and ongoing improvement.
  • Help ensure the organization follows internal policies and relevant employment regulations.
  • Spot operational issues and put practical solutions in place to improve efficiency.
  • Support clear communication between teams so everyone stays aligned with company objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in operations, business management, people leadership, or a similar role.
  • Proven ability to manage managers, team leads, or cross-functional groups.
  • Strong capability in leadership, organization, and problem solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build processes and maintain accountability across teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and the capacity to manage several priorities at once.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and collaboration platforms.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in technology consulting, IT services, or professional services.
  • Experience supporting remote or distributed teams.
  • Familiarity with project management methods and business process improvement practices.
  • Exposure to talent acquisition, onboarding, employee support, or team development work.
  • Experience in contracting environments or regulated industries is an advantage.
