Position Overview

Zynga is seeking an ambitious analyst to join our advertising team. This role is crucial for maximizing the value of our advertising inventory through operational excellence and insightful analytics. You will be responsible for modeling the economic value of our ad products, identifying new supply opportunities, and translating findings into actionable reports. This is a highly visible, collaborative position that will directly influence daily revenues. The ideal candidate is adept with numbers, enjoys identifying patterns, and is keen to develop expertise in econometrics, user segmentation, process management, and business intelligence.

What You'll Do

• Enhance the value of advertising inventory through both manual and automated operational processes.
• Develop, implement, and analyze innovative pre/post and A/B tests to uncover new revenue streams.
• Translate complex data into clear dashboards and reports utilizing Excel, SQL, and Tableau.
• Streamline data workflows, implement new tools, and develop automation to boost operational efficiency.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to pinpoint opportunities for revenue optimization and overall business performance improvement.
• Provide support for daily operations and analytics as required.
• Research current trends within the mobile advertising, mobile gaming, and advertising technology sectors.

What You Bring

• A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a data-intensive role.
• Previous experience in mobile gaming or advertising is highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, conditional functions, charting, and keyboard shortcuts.
• Advanced SQL skills, including joins, table creation, case statements, and subqueries.
• Experience with dashboarding software like Tableau, or programming languages such as Python/R, is a significant plus.
• Robust problem-solving abilities, a collaborative spirit, and creativity.
• A strong work ethic to meet deadlines in a dynamic business environment.
• Intellectual curiosity to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights.
• Exceptional accuracy, attention to detail, effective time management, and a commitment to continuous growth.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication capabilities.
• A genuine enthusiasm for mobile gaming is a plus.

What We Offer You

The compensation range for this role in California is between $78,900 and $116,760 annually. Actual pay may vary based on location, experience, skills, and other objective business factors. Total compensation may include bonuses, equity awards, and eligibility for our 401(K) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program.
