Role overview

This position is for a high-performing sales development professional who will drive market expansion across Australia and Singapore for a consultancy focused on financial technology implementation. The role sits at the front line of engagement with senior finance decision-makers, including CFOs and Finance Directors, and is designed for someone who enjoys prospecting, opening complex conversations, and building a qualified pipeline for senior consultants.

The hiring company operates as a sales acceleration partner supporting ambitious B2B organizations with outsourced demand generation and business development. Its approach combines data-led outreach, structured sales processes, and modern tools to help clients turn leads into real opportunities. The environment is fast paced, ambitious, and centered on measurable outcomes, professional growth, and strong execution.

What you will do

  • Make around 50 to 80 outbound calls each day to senior finance stakeholders such as CFOs, Finance Directors, and VP-level finance leaders.
  • Assess prospects against the internal “Magic35” qualification standard to keep the pipeline highly targeted and sales-ready.
  • Schedule discovery meetings and oversee early-stage opportunity management using Salesforce and Salesloft.
  • Create interest and secure attendance for specialist industry events across the APAC region.
  • Build and maintain a strong understanding of the financial technology market so you can clearly explain the value of implementation services.
  • Work closely with leadership based in the UK while independently managing activity within APAC time zones.

What the role asks for

  • At least 3 years of professional sales experience, with a strong background in outbound prospecting.
  • Direct selling experience with CFOs, Finance Directors, or other senior finance leaders.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with a native-level Australian accent required for market fit.
  • Availability to work Australian business hours from any Australian time zone, plus commitment to an initial 2-week training period aligned to UK time.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce and Salesloft or comparable modern sales platforms.
  • A proactive, target-driven mindset and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a busy environment.

Preferred background

  • 5 or more years of sales experience in the Finance or SaaS space.
  • Experience selling consultancy services or implementation-based solutions.
  • Exposure to financial technology products such as CCH Tagetik, Workiva, Sage Intacct, FloQast, Pigment, Oracle NetSuite, or Kyriba.
  • Past involvement in event-driven lead generation or field marketing support.
  • Experience in account management or client relationship roles.

Compensation and benefits

  • Competitive base pay plus uncapped commission potential.
  • Fully remote setup across the APAC region.
  • Opportunities for career progression within a globally respected sales organization.
  • Long-term role stability in a structured and established business.
  • Performance-linked incentives and milestone-based rewards.
  • Access to premium sales tools and proven training methods.
