Role overview
This role sits within a rapidly scaling fintech organization in Riyadh that is expanding its commercial footprint across Saudi Arabia. The position is suited to a driven business development professional who can open new opportunities, build trusted partnerships, and support growth in the digital payments and financial technology space.
What you will do
- Identify and pursue new corporate accounts across Saudi Arabia.
- Build a healthy sales pipeline through outreach, networking, referrals, and market engagement.
- Own the full sales journey, from initial lead generation through contract discussions and final closing.
- Shape and execute business development plans that support revenue growth and broader market reach.
- Coordinate with internal teams to deliver a smooth onboarding process and a strong client experience.
- Keep CRM records current, including pipeline status, forecasts, and reporting.
- Track market movements, competitor activity, and wider industry developments.
Candidate profile
- You should have 3 to 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management.
- Relevant background in payments, fintech, banking, FX, or financial services is required.
- You need a strong history of bringing in new business and consistently meeting or surpassing revenue targets.
- A proactive, hunter-style approach to sales is important for this role.
- Experience selling financial or technology solutions to business clients will be highly valuable.
- Strong skills in relationship management, stakeholder engagement, presentations, and negotiation are essential.
- You must be comfortable working with senior decision-makers and handling longer, more complex sales cycles.
